We visited Astrolabe, The sculptural of covid-19 and  Early modern medical tools. This got me interested in astrology, as there is a lot of divination based on the astrolabe. And most people at the time believed that the earth was the centre of the universe, while many beautiful models were made to explain this concept.

It was really interesting to be fascinated by the masks of many different cultures at this exhibition. Masks have different uses and functions in different cultural settings. For example, Japanese masks can be used during performances, while Chinese masks were used for rituals in ancient times.

One work of particular interest to me in this exhibition is about the woods in the wind. It is really powerful.

Related to my work

My project two has been focusing on putting similar things together and I found chairs that were stacked on top of each other.
