Based on last week's plans I started to complete them one by one.
rediscovering materials
rethinking connections and cutting crows
complete the text description
complete the new model making
learn more about glazes
I tested copper and iron wire and eventually chose copper because it had a better shine.
I rethought the size and number of holes to be punched and ended up cutting the crow without holes and then manually punching half of the holes so that the bird would look complete from the front. I finally finished the new model.

In order to hang the piece during the final set-up, I purchased another piece of 3.6mm copper, which could be bent and had the strength to keep it stable.

Unrelated activities

To learn more about glazes, I borrowed a lot of books on glazes from the library to study them.

I have found note-taking to be a very useful way of learning, as I can find and organise information that is relevant to my ideas.
