I started thinking about improving the efficiency of my Reflective Journal and I thought about dividing each post into three sections: relevant activities, irrelevant activities, reflections and goals for the next week.
Related activities
My main activity during the week was setting up our exhibition, but as my work was so large I needed to create a smaller version for the final exhibition. To do this I needed to re-cut the bird and choose a new suitable wire and make it within a week. I think this was a very big challenge.

I chose wire for the new version as it is easy to bend and the colour is a nice silvery colour. I also re-laser cut a smaller version of the crow, I chose to use a new material acrylic as it is lighter and less fragile when it is smaller. But this version of the connection does not seem to be very refined or special. Because it looks better when the objects are smaller and more refined.
Unrelated activities
I wanted to go deeper into glazing in the next unit, so I wanted to find out the colours of the studio glazes first for which I made some test pieces.
